Mya joined the team in October 2026 as a Senior Investment Manager, where she is focused on the deployment and management of Bootstrap4F. Her role spans the full investment lifecycle, including fund sourcing, due diligence, financial modelling and legal execution, as well as ongoing portfolio management and board responsibilities.

Prior to joining the team, Mya was an Investment Manager at Better Society Capital, where she led the deployment of c.£60m of fund commitments, managed an £86m listed investment trust, and held Board and Investment Committee positions across a number of funds. Alongside this role, she was also an Investment Advisor to Thema, an early-stage venture fund-of-funds.

Before Better Society Capital, Mya worked in the Strategy team at the British Business Bank. She served as the venture industry lead for the government-backed Investing in Women Code, focused on improving access to finance for women and historically underrepresented founders. She also worked on a range of strategic projects and publications covering diversity in entrepreneurship, UK VC returns, international engagement and social impact investing.

Mya holds an MA in Law from the University of Oxford.
