Bootstrap4F has been selected by the Invest in Women Taskforce to manage a dedicated Fund of Funds that channels capital to the highest-performing emerging GPs led by women and mixed teams in UK Venture. Bootstrap4F is an initiative designed to channel financing to the highest-performing, balanced, and female-led and diverse-led teams in the UK venture ecosystem.

Where it started
We know how hard it is for women to start a business – let alone a fund. We’ve been there.
Bootstrap4F exists to change the game for female and mixed investment managers by giving them access to the capital they need to scale, succeed, and shape the next chapter of UK innovation.
Invest in Women Taskforce
The Invest in Women Taskforce is backed by the Department for Business & Trade and His Majesty’s Treasury. Chancellor Rachel Reeves officially endorsed the Taskforce in September 2024, which demonstrates the UK government’s commitment to supporting female entrepreneurship as part of their drive for economic growth.
The Taskforce also benefits from high-level Government representation, with Minister for Investment Baroness Poppy Gustaffsson OBE and Small Business Minister Gareth Thomas serving as members of the IWT board and Ecosystem Working group, respectively.
